The Chisel Helper Surfaces overlay of the scene view shows the surfaces you normally can't see, or picks out some of them:
| Toggle | Shows |
|---|---|
| User Hidden | Surfaces explicitly set to not be visible |
| Shadow Casting | Surfaces that are rendered and cast shadows |
| Shadow Only | Surfaces that cast shadows but are not rendered |
| Shadow Receiving | Surfaces that receive shadows |
| Collision | Surfaces that are part of a collider |
| Discarded | Surfaces Chisel removed because they are inside the level |
- Hide Renderables hides the level itself, so only the helper surfaces are drawn.
- None and All switch every helper surface off or on.
The same views are in the scene view's draw mode menu (Shadow Only Surfaces, Shadow Casting Surfaces, Hidden Surfaces and more).
