What

Moves the dev toolchain to modern tools and clears all npm audit findings.

  • Tests: jest → vitest 5 (+ @vitest/coverage-v8 for coverage/coveralls). No test changes needed: all 160 tests and 33 inline snapshots pass as before.
  • Lint: eslint 7 → oxlint. ESLint 10 dropped .eslintrc support, and babel-eslint is no longer maintained.
  • Release: @changesets/cli 2 → 3. Ran changeset version locally and it works.
  • Overrides: removed 8 overrides that no longer match any dependency after the swap.

Security

npm audit goes from 52 vulnerabilities (43 high, 9 moderate) to 0. All of them were in dev dependencies (the old jest/eslint trees, including sprintf-js via jest's coverage tooling, which has no patched version).

Impact

None for consumers. Only devDependencies, scripts, and overrides changed. dist/openapi-sampler.js is byte-identical to main, and src/ is unchanged, so no changeset is needed.
