🔗 Serverless API with AWS Lambda & API Gateway

A fully serverless REST API built with Terraform, using:

• ⚙️ AWS Lambda
• 🌐 API Gateway
• 🗃️ DynamoDB (for request logging)
• 🛠️ Terraform (for infrastructure-as-code)
• 🔍 CloudWatch (for observability)

🧠 Architecture

This API exposes a public /hello endpoint that triggers a Lambda function, logs each request to DynamoDB, and returns a success message.

• CloudWatch log group with 14 day retention
• CLI automation scripts for fast deployment and teardown

🚀 Deploy the API

./deploy.sh

After deployment, invoke the API:

curl https://<your-api-id>.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prod/hello

You should see:

{"message":"Hello from Lambda with DynamoDB logging!"}

🔥 Destroy the API

./destroy.sh
