Not meant to merge as-is. This PR exists to get CI evidence for SciML/OrdinaryDiffEq.jl#4914.

It moves the temporary StochasticDiffEqCore, StochasticDiffEqImplicit, and StochasticDiffEqLeaping test pins from SciML/OrdinaryDiffEq.jl#4836's commit (1de403a5) to #4914's head (f5acc71d). JumpProcesses' CI then runs its test suite against that branch.

SciML/OrdinaryDiffEq.jl#4914 is a smaller alternative to #4836 that admits both JumpProcesses 9 and 10:

  • it narrows one StochasticDiffEqCore __init method and widens the JumpProcesses compat;
  • it keeps Core's calls to resetted_jump_problem and reset_jump_problem!, which JumpProcesses 10 keeps as compatibility shims.

Once #4914 is released, the pins and the StochasticDiffEq test extras should be removed instead. This PR will then be updated to do that, or closed.

Changes

Only the root Project.toml changes: the three test pins and the comment above them. The docs pins still point at #4836's commit.

Validation

Run locally on Julia 1.12.7 with 4 threads, against the same commit via path sources:

  • InterfaceI: 2013 passed;
  • InterfaceII: 3391 passed, including stochastic_dispatch.jl (287/287);
  • ThreadSafety: 333 passed.

Expected CI

The same jobs as on master (no lts InterfaceI/II or ThreadSafety, and Downgrade off, because of the URL sources). The x86 InterfaceI job may need a rerun, since the self-hosted runner's LibGit2 can fail to clone URL sources.

Move the temporary StochasticDiffEqCore, Implicit, and Leaping test pins
from OrdinaryDiffEq.jl#4836's commit to #4914's head, the smaller
StochasticDiffEq change that admits both JumpProcesses 9 and 10, so this
package's CI checks it.
