SpaceSharp is a free, open source disk space analyzer.
Your drive as a zoomable treemap: scan in seconds, filter in plain words, see what changed, clean up from the map.
Every file and folder is a box sized by the space it uses. Sample data.
Your drive is full and nothing obvious explains it. SpaceSharp reads the whole thing in seconds and draws it as one picture: folders are frames, files are boxes inside them, and the biggest boxes are where your space went. From there:
- Zoom into any folder, and back out with one key.
- Filter in plain words.
videos over 500MB older than 1 yeardims everything else and keeps the map. - See what changed. Every scan is saved and compared with the one before: then, now and the difference for every folder, new and gone files marked.
- Find what is safe to clear. Insights lists Windows.old, caches, the Recycle Bin and stale downloads, each with one button, and shows how full the drive would be without them.
- Clean up without fear. Deleting always goes through the Recycle Bin.
Windows 10 and 11 today, as a portable exe, a one-click installer that updates itself, or an MSI; every download is code-signed. The app is built on Avalonia, and the Mac and Linux packages follow in a later release. No telemetry, no account, no network use beyond the update check.

Bug reports and ideas go to issues; a screenshot and the Windows version help. Pull requests are welcome for fixes, translations (the interface is in 18 languages, 16 of them machine-made and glad of a native speaker) and features that fit; CONTRIBUTING says what to expect. A star on the repository is the easiest way to help people find it.
