Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Certifiable Training (the "Project").

Terms

By submitting a contribution to this Project, you agree that:

1. License Grant

You grant The Murray Family Innovation Trust (the "Maintainer") a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your contribution
  • Sublicense your contribution under any license (including commercial licenses)
  • Incorporate your contribution into derivative works

2. Rights Retained

You retain copyright ownership of your contribution.

3. Original Work

You represent that:

  • Your contribution is your original work
  • You have the right to grant the licenses described above
  • Your contribution does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights

4. No Warranty

Your contribution is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

5. Purpose

This agreement enables the Project to:

  • Offer the software under open source licenses (GPLv3)
  • Offer commercial licenses to companies that cannot use GPL
  • Use licensing revenue to fund continued development

How to Sign

We use CLA Assistant for automated CLA signing:

  1. Submit your pull request
  2. CLA Assistant will ask you to sign
  3. Click the link and sign electronically
  4. Your PR can proceed once signed
