Submit the list to sindresorhus/awesome

Submission itself is a maintainer task, since the PR has to come from the project owner. The conformance work below is fully open for contribution and is the part that actually takes effort.

Goal

Get this list accepted into sindresorhus/awesome. The checklist there is strict and most PRs are closed within minutes for avoidable formatting problems.

Contributor part: make the list conformant

Work through the awesome list requirements and fix every deviation:

• awesome-lint passes with zero errors (tracked in Run awesome-lint in CI #103, do that one first)
• README has the awesome badge
• Description does not start with "A list of" and carries no marketing language
• Table of contents sits directly after the description
• Every entry has a description that starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop
• Entry format is [Name](link) - Description. exactly, including the hyphen spacing
• License file present. CC0 is preferred over MIT for a content list
• Repository has a short GitHub description and topics set

How to check your work

Fix everything it reports. Then read three or four recently closed PRs on sindresorhus/awesome to see what reviewers actually reject, and check this list against those reasons too.

Notes

The entry description rule is the one that bites hardest here, since it applies to every single line in the list. Expect that to be the bulk of the work.

Scope: medium, roughly 2 hours, mostly mechanical. Depends on #103.

Checked current conformance before deciding whether to open the submission PR:

• npx awesome-lint passes cleanly right now (verified locally, and it runs in CI on every push to main).
• But: scripts/run-awesome-lint.mjs deliberately disables 3 of awesome-lint's rules — bold entry names, intentional repeat navigation links, and keeping a License section — because this list's format deviates from sindresorhus/awesome's required format on purpose (documented in CONTRIBUTING.md's CI checks section). The bold-entry-name format in particular (**[Name](url)** - description instead of their exact [Name](url) - Description.) is a hard, mechanical rule sindresorhus/awesome's own tooling and reviewers enforce, and it applies to every single entry in this list (185 of them).
• Also missing: the awesome.re badge (typically added post-acceptance, not a blocker) and the license is MIT rather than their preferred CC0 (MIT is generally still accepted, so lower priority).

Given the deliberate, repo-wide bold-name deviation, this list does not currently 'clearly meet their contribution guidelines' — submitting as-is would very likely get closed quickly for entry format, per the issue's own warning that 'most PRs are closed within minutes for avoidable formatting problems.' Making it conformant would mean stripping bold from all 185 entries, which changes the list's visual style repo-wide — that's a real trade-off (visual style vs. external listing) only the maintainer should decide, not something to do unilaterally as a drive-by fix.

Not opening the submission PR. If you want to pursue this, the concrete next step is deciding whether to drop the bold-name style (at least for the submission, possibly permanently) — happy to do that conversion in a follow-up once you confirm. Leaving this open.
