Free Tex Packer

Open-source sprite atlas packer (web UI, Electron desktop, Godot/Unity/Phaser JSON). The old apex free-tex-packer.com is a "Loading..." shell on 2026-08-24; a follow-through host is not the app. Use the GitHub repo. LICENSE.md is MIT. That is a license on the packer, not on the sprites you feed it.

Notes

• Do not download from ww1.free-tex-packer.com
• Self-host dist/web or build the Electron app from this repo
• Exported atlas metadata is yours to the extent your input art is. MIT does not launder a ripped sprite sheet
• Checklist: MIT file visible, commercial use of the software permitted, no NC/ND, not a marketplace, author named, not blocklisted, tool vs atlas contents distinguished
