⏸️ Deferred after a local pilot (2026-09-11, dsh-autopilot R35):

• vitest 4.1.11 + @vitest/coverage-v8 4.1.11 install cleanly; pnpm build and all 49 tests pass under vitest 4.
• However, the v8 coverage counting semantics changed: measured total went 93.65% → 77.20% (statement granularity shifted, e.g. units.ts 490 → 96 statements; per-file ratios differ). Our repos enforce a coverage ratchet whose baseline can never decrease — absorbing a measurement change needs a deliberate re-baseline across the whole plugin fleet, not a silent per-PR merge.
• The advisory this PR fixes (GHSA-82fw-gwwq-j7x9, path traversal in @vitest/mocker) is dev-time only and has no 3.x fix, so there is no urgency to force it through here.

Plan: the upgrade (vitest + coverage-v8 in lockstep) will be handled as a dedicated toolchain round with an explicit baseline re-derivation. Keeping this PR open as the tracking item; same decision applies to the identical dependabot PRs across the other plugin repos.
