Sounds like your app was already quite accessible starting out, but you still found some ways to make improvements. I can image the difficulty with the integrated input field, maybe you can send an email to Susanne Arnesson and ask her to test it 🤷♀️
Either way, I think you’ve done a good job and it was nice reading about your process and reflections.
Keep up the good work!
PS. Nice with empty alt tag for "non-important” images, making the screen reader skip it 👍
