How to automate Microsoft Entra ID join and Intune enrollment for Windows VMs created in proxmox using Terraform?

Hi Team,

I am provisioning Windows VMs on Proxmox using the Telmate Terraform provider.

Is there any supported way to automatically join these VMs to Microsoft Entra ID and enroll them into Microsoft Intune during or after Terraform deployment?

Is there any recommended approach or best practice for Proxmox?

Not sure on this, but if there is functionality needed please let me know.
Also is windows installed with graphical interface or terminal?
If terminal does windows understand the proxmox serial interface.
Thinking along the lines of let Terraform blindle type over a noVNC session.

Thanks for your response. The target is Windows 11 Enterprise with a graphical interface. The requirement is to provision the VM using Terraform and then automate Microsoft Entra ID join and Intune enrollment. I was checking whether the Proxmox Terraform provider has any supported capability to execute post-provisioning actions inside the Windows guest or trigger a bootstrap process. I wasn't referring to automating UI interactions over a noVNC session.

@garghimanshu443-hub How would Intune enrollment be done if the administrator can't use the noVNC screen?

Maybe a golden image with qemu-guest-agent and ssh installed and login through it and onboard with powershell?

In theory we can send arbitrary commands to the qemu-guest-agent. But we don't have support for this in Terraform or the upstream pveSDK yet.
