The only assignment in this lesson is to read section 7 from the Rails Guide on controllers: https://guides.rubyonrails.org/v7.2/action_controller_overview.html#rendering

It's super short and it only covers information that's already in the lesson itself (it's even the exact same example).

I was wondering if the Rails Guide might have been changed since this lesson was last updated and had more information before that's now somewhere else in the Rails Guide. The section that was linked in the assignment links to another lesson in the Rails Guide that goes much more in depth on the topics that were covered in the TOP lesson: https://guides.rubyonrails.org/v7.2/layouts_and_rendering.html

Maybe it makes sense to add this to the assignment too.

There's not many API specific things in the old guide page either. Basically the only thing that's terribly important is knowing how to render json, which really is just that simple.

I will say that I think the first three sections of their Using Rails for API-only Applications guide are probably good to read and not all of its content is included in the lesson. How do you feel about adding that to the assignment @tobias-tiefert ?
