Say where the printer's reader actually is
"One reader for two spools" left out the part that makes two chips necessary: the reader sits between the two slots, or on the flank of the printer reading whichever face the slot presents. So a chip on each side is what lets you load a spool without thinking about its orientation. Also rewrites the hand-scan bullet around what the user actually does — never having to work out which face carries the chip. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Two chips, on opposite sides of the spool — it looks redundant, it's actually
3131
the smartest detail of the format:

Snapmaker the spool sits either side of the printer. With a chip on each

side, **whatever the slot, one chip always faces the reader**.
37-
- **No flipping when hand-scanning.** However you grab the spool, a chip is
38-
facing you — tap and done.

Centauri Carbon or a FlashForge can be scanned without pulling it out.

Deux puces, sur les faces opposées de la bobine — cela paraît redondant, c'est
