Proton Mail Bridge Komodo Bootstrap

One-command bootstrap for running dancwilliams/protonmail-bridge with KEYRING_PASSPHRASE from a Komodo Server Terminal.

It writes:

• compose.yaml
• .env with a locally prompted KEYRING_PASSPHRASE
• scripts/init.sh
• scripts/secure-init-with-keyring-passphrase.sh

Use from Komodo WebUI

Open a Komodo Server Terminal in the desired stack directory and run:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Tuxmint-Open-Source/protonmail-bridge-komodo-bootstrap/main/install.sh | bash

or:

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Tuxmint-Open-Source/protonmail-bridge-komodo-bootstrap/main/install.sh | bash

The script prompts for KEYRING_PASSPHRASE, writes .env, then starts secure Bridge init.

Inside the Bridge shell:

login
info
exit

Then start the stack:

docker compose up -d

Notes

• This is an unofficial helper for the unofficial community Docker image.
• It is not affiliated with Proton AG or the image maintainer.
• Do not change KEYRING_PASSPHRASE after initialization unless you intend to reset/reinitialize the Bridge state.
