Version 5.4 supports script control (on HW with SD Card slots).
with this script control one can
control
- the output state
- the voltage setpoint
- the current setpoint
evaluate - the current output voltage
- the current output current
- the start mode (automatic or manuel)
trigger - log file entries
- user messages
the scripting language supports (un)conditional jumps, (nested) loops and 10 general purpose unsigned 8 bit integers. these integers can be saved to and loaded from the eeprom / config file.
when in AUTO ON mode the last program selected will be executed automatically on system start
program files need to end on .PRG. Only DOS 8.3 filenames are allowed.
currently the system operates in verbose mode. This means an .PRS file will be generated
An .ERR file will be generated anyway, On succes this file will stay empty
Te parse file consists of five sections:
- command and parameter decoding
for every parse program line the physical line number, the number of the corresponding program data element, the command and the parameters will be logged. Program data element and line number will be different becaus comments and empty lines will not produce an programm data element - label checking
every JUMP command will be matched to its associated label line - loop checking pass 1
every loop header will be matched against its dedicated loop footer - loop checking pass 2
it will be checked if there are any unmatched loop commands - message list
a list of all defined logging and user messages will be created
Any errors during the parsing process will be reported in this file
It contains the program line and the error message
possible error messages are:
- line to long
the program line exceeds the buffer lenth (max. 80 chars) - unknown command
the identifier found in first place is not part of the supported commands - invalid label char
only "0" ... "9", "@", "A" ..."Z", "_", "a" ... "z" are allowed - label to long
a label is limited to 5 characters. - delay to long >60s
same delays are limited to 60000 ms - invalid delay
0 ms is not a vaild delay - previous expression pending
incompete expression in SET or JUMP statement - variable previosly used
varible previously used in current SET statement - multiple operators selected
all operators are single character operators "<", "=", ">", "+", "-" - no variable selected
operator used without variable - immedeate assignement only
some variables such as "O" support only direct assignement "=" - invalid parameter sequence
variable selected in JUMP or SET does not exist - multiple conditions not allowed
jump statement does not support logic with multiple expressions - invalid operator
Output values do not support "equals" condion only "less than" or "greater than" are llowed - no operator selected

when using one of the 10 flags the use of the index digit is essential - closing loop without opening loop

commands do not need to start on the first position of a line. Any number of whitespaces is allowed

instead of automated logging, within a script the log command should be preferred. this enables the user to controll the log file entries individually, depending on the current requirements
