Sensors report "unknown" for power values in HA but MQTT messages display power values

Hi,

I am struggling to get live "power" values from my meter has the sensors report "unknown values" in HA
Prices, realtime and energy values seem to update fine in HA.

When looking at the local interface of the P1 reader, I can get a reading of the power values (i.e. active import / export, total and for each phase).

When looking at the messages sent over mqtt in MQTT Explorer, I have the feeling it is probably due to some formatting issues.

Values are sent, for some reasons HA is not able to pick up these values, very odd, but I have to admit that I'm still new to this and not great at it.

If someone has idea, that would be great. Thank you !

Show us the list of sensors exposed in HA:
Settings > Devices & Services > MQTT > AMS reader
It should look like this, where "Active import" is the Power sensor:

This is apparently not a device we sold - but a device running on a Wemos D1 Mini, meaning it is an ESP8266.

But that should not be the cause of this, unless there were issues during the transmission of the autodetect message from the device.

Try to delete the device from HA, then reboot the device to trigger a new autodiscovery. (No worries, the historical data will be preserved in HA.)
