The Diagrams ARE The Story

Diagram 1: Before/After

  • Before FAF: Components floating independently. No persistent format.
  • After FAF: Everything connected through .faf Format Foundation
  • Usage: Homepage hero - THIS IS THE PITCH

Diagram 2: Hub

  • .faf sits at the center
  • Bidirectional conversion to any format
  • Usage: Technical explainer section

Tactical Lessons From Anthropic's Rollout

What They Did What FAF Can Do
Dedicated domain standard.faf.one or spec.faf.one
"Developed by X" credibility "IANA-registered. Anthropic MCP #2759. Chrome approved."
Logo wall of supporters Claude, Gemini, Grok, Cursor, Chrome logos
GitHub-first Position github.com/Wolfe-Jam/faf as THE spec repo
Validator tools faf validate already exists - highlight it
Clear spec docs Dedicated /spec page with full YAML schema
Integration guides Step-by-step for each platform

The Gap (What FAF Has That Anthropic Doesn't)

FAF's Advantages:

  • IANA registration (application/vnd.faf+yaml) - Anthropic doesn't have this
  • 20K+ downloads (real adoption)
  • Multi-platform support (proven across 8+ ecosystems)
  • W3C group (governance)

What's Needed: A clean site that tells the story like they do.

Implementation Priority

  1. Homepage - Hero with Before/After diagram (DONE - has diagram)
  2. Logo wall - Compatible platforms (DONE - has logos)
  3. Spec page - Full YAML schema with examples
  4. Integrations page - Platform-specific guides
  5. Tools page - CLI, MCP server, validators
  6. Adopters page - Case studies, testimonials

Credibility Badges to Feature

  • IANA Registered: October 30, 2025
  • Anthropic MCP #2759 Approved
  • Google Chrome Approved
  • 20,000+ downloads
  • W3C Community Group

"The Foundation for AI Context"

Design Notes

Gemini Badge Color - The 4-color Google gradient (#4285f4, #34a853, #fbbc05, #ea4335) feels busy compared to clean solid badges. Consider:

  • Gemini blue: #4285f4 (solid, matches Claude's solid orange)
  • Gemini gradient: Blue → purple (Gemini's own branding, not Google's rainbow)
  • Current rainbow says "Google" but different vibe from other badges
