Auto-Initialization Feature

  • Phase 0 Enhanced: Skill now automatically runs /init if CLAUDE.md is missing
  • Context Reloading: After /init generates CLAUDE.md, skill reloads context with enhanced information
  • Transparent Communication: User sees clear progress messages during auto-initialization
  • Graceful Fallback: If /init fails, skill continues with code-only analysis

Benefits:

  • ✅ Zero Configuration: Best quality analysis without manual /init
  • ✅ Always Best Quality: 98% quality (with CLAUDE.md) vs 95% (code-only)
  • ✅ One-Time Cost: /init runs once on fresh clone, reused for subsequent analyses

Migration Guide

From 1.0 to 2.0

No breaking changes. v2.0 is backward compatible:

No breaking changes. v2.1 is backward compatible:

  • Existing CLAUDE.md: No change
  • Fresh clones: Auto-inits (new behavior)
  • All projects: Better quality by default

Action Required: None! Just use the skill as before.
