Monitoring bms values through virtual ports and editing configs on the run

I was wondering if it is possible to access the bms values through virtual ports on the inverter side or listen to the port on the bms side. On the other hand, ManipulateBatterPackDataPlugin mentions modification of bms values, but does it work in real time? Can it be accessed programmatically? Can I also change the state of the charge/discharge MOSFETs? If anybody has any idea on how I may be able to do that please let me know, and thank you in advance.

hmm, I'm not sure what you intend to do. The application will need a physical CAN/RS485 interface to connect. It could be possible if you have a virtual CAN port but I haven't tested that. The communication library uses SocketCAN for CAN.
