I haven’t found any mention of INVT in the README, issues, or past discussions, so before buying the Raspberry Pi + Waveshare RS485/CAN HAT hardware, I wanted to check:
1. Has anyone here successfully tested bms-to-inverter output with an INVT inverter (any model in the BD/XD series)?
2. My inverter’s manual states the “Lithium” battery type communicates via CAN or RS485 on the BMS port (RJ45, pins 4/5 for CAN, pins 6/7/8 for RS485). I found official Pylontech documentation listing “INVT BD series” as compatible via CAN. Would the Pylon binding in this project be the right one to target, given that?
3. Any known quirks or specific settings needed for INVT compatibility?
Happy to test this myself and report back once I have the hardware, if that’s useful to the project.
