A modified version of the OptogenSIM_CLOC Monte Carlo light-propagation tool (Steven L. Jacques et al., BSD 2-Clause; see LICENSE.txt) used to generate the 4D transmittance dataset packaged with Cleo's OptogenSIM light model (https://github.com/siplab-gt/cleo).
OptogenSIM.m adds an automated parameter sweep to the GO callback:
- Sweeps wavelength from 380 to 740 nm in 30 nm steps.
- For each wavelength, sweeps beam radius over 10, 20, 100, 200, 400, and 800 um.
- Recomputes tissue optical properties for each wavelength
(
makeTissueList_OGS(W)) so scattering and absorption are correct at every wavelength in the sweep, rather than fixed to a single wavelength. - Runs the Monte Carlo simulation for each (wavelength, radius) pair and saves the resulting fluence output.
The sweep produces transmittance through gray matter over an (r, z) grid for each (wavelength, beam radius) combination. These are assembled into the 4D (wavelength, beam_size, r, z) dataset packaged with Cleo.
Obtain the full OptogenSIM_CLOC distribution, replace its OptogenSIM.m with
the version in this repository, and run. The GO button executes the full sweep.
