Hi — I have a YI Dome 720p (model YHS-1916, DID prefix 13US) currently running stock firmware 1.9.1.0J_202607171703 (July 2026 build). I found that the compatibility table lists Yi Dome | rootfs_v201 | home_v201 with base firmware 1.9.1.0J_201809191135 — the version string matches exactly, only the build date differs by ~8 years.
I also found issue #64 in this repo from a user who had this exact model (YHS-1916) running yi-hack-v4 successfully.
Before I attempt anything, I wanted to ask: has anyone successfully installed on stock firmware this recent (2025/2026-era)? Is a firmware downgrade required first, and if so, is there a confirmed-working process for that on this exact model? I'm being cautious given documented bricking cases from mismatched firmware/model files elsewhere in this project family, and want to avoid that. Any guidance appreciated before I try.
