ANIRBAN PAL — ACADEMIC WEBSITE

Public website: https://alphago1234.github.io/
Repository: https://github.com/alphago1234/alphago1234.github.io

An independent static academic website. No package installation, framework,
database, tracking service, or JavaScript is needed to read the content.
JavaScript adds publication filtering and search as progressive enhancement.

EDITING
Edit data/profile.json for approved biography and public contact links.
Edit data/publications.json for publication records and exact status labels.
Edit build.py for page prose or layout; edit assets/style.css for styling.
Run: python3 build.py
Run: python3 validate.py
Commit generated HTML along with the data and generator.

HOSTING
GitHub Pages publishes the root of the main branch. .nojekyll prevents Jekyll
processing. Keep the personal-site repository separate from research code.

CONTENT PROVENANCE
Bio and research interests: supplied and approved by Anirban Pal in this thread.
The biological/molecular representation-learning heading and ongoing foundation-
model direction follow Anirban's subsequent website-edit request. The foundation-
model entry describes ongoing research, not a new publication, released model,
or completed large-scale pretraining result.
Portrait/contact: existing public GitHub profile, accessed 14 October 2026.
VECTOR+: arXiv:2509.00684 author, title, and preprint record, checked 14 October.
CAISc entries: the conference's public accepted-paper list, checked 14 October.
Journal articles: the two entries on Anirban's supplied ResearchGate profile,
verified against RSC/Wiley publisher records and Crossref on 14 October.
The pyridine paper uses its 2026 journal-issue year and also displays its first
online date, 24 December 2025. Journal BibTeX entries use publisher-deposited
author given/family names and include DOI, volume, issue, and page/article number.
Other OpenReview entries: Anirban's supplied publication-list screenshot, reviewed
12 October. Live OpenReview profile/API access was blocked by browser verification.
These entries preserve the supplied statuses; no journal or main-conference
acceptance is inferred. Unknown paper-specific links use the author profile,
explicitly labelled as such. Do not describe those links as direct paper links.
"How Target Assignment Shapes Experience Replay": added from Anirban's new
OpenReview screenshot, with authors Atharva Airen and Anirban Pal, date
14 October 2026, and status "Submitted to TMLR". It is not an accepted paper.

Public code: published author VECTOR+ implementation and Anirban's public
Cross-Electrophile-Coupling repository. Private drafts and experiment files are
not included. The ligand workflow is reused from that public repository.

DESIGN
Inspired by the clarity and academic structure of Sayan Ghosal's website,
https://sayangsep.github.io/. The implementation and stylesheet were written
for this profile; no personal text, photographs, or template source were copied.

The CV is omitted because no CV was provided. Add it only with a real document.
The portrait can be replaced at assets/portrait.png; keep it a square photograph.
