Hey @mzs114, thanks for saying this out loud, and for considering Amber for your MVP. Honest feedback is welcome here, art included. Amber is whimsical but serious. Our style is a reflection of the fun that we wish to have while doing serious things. The serious part is the code: Amber's core has been stable for years, I build a dozen or more projects with it every year, and one of them runs in production for national infrastructure. We have the evidence to back up that what we're doing works extremely well, so there's no reason to not have fun while getting stuff done. Amber and her friends are meant to be relatable mascots. They can be professional, and they can be a little funny. That's the whole point. Here's Amber at work, live on air:
It's only going to get more fun from here: Amber is going to be streaming sooner than later, as a Crystal-powered VTuber that live streams how to code with her framework. If it's not your style, that's OK. You're welcome to come back and try again later. The framework will be just as fast and just as stable when you do. 🧡 |

Hello,
We considered Amber for a MVP (a web app + API), the features felt compelling, but the current artwork projected a non-commercial hobbyist vibe.
Please consider revising it to something else(like how Crystal/Ruby artwork are). It may feel trivial and nitpick, so feel free to ignore this suggestion.
