Dongle firmware 3.x and 2.x with Encryption enabled does not accept tcp connections

• Users that use dongles with 3.x firmware indicate that the dongle does not accept tcp connections to tcp port 8000
  • 2025-10-07 one user in telegram group indicates that Luxpower support was able to downgrade firmware from 3.02 to 2.07 and was able to connect again
• One user indicated that received a new dongle with version 2.06 that indicates on monitoring as type "E-Wifi ENC" and does not accept tcp connections also
  • 2025-10-09 Luxpower support downgraded to a version that has tcp 8000 open
  • More users appeared with dongles running on 2.x and show as "E-Wifi ENC" on luxpower website, have to ask Luxpower support to change dongle to the unencrypted version
• My dongle is running version 2.09 and type "E-Wifi" and works fine
• We have to wait for more informations from Luxpower support about this case
• Don't upgrade firmware do 3.x

Hi, I have a DG series and Type E Wi-Fi ENC whit Firmware 2.07 but I cant connect on IP or Homeassistant.
If I try to connect on wifi of dongle I see the IP and Port 8000, save the settings but i cant connect!

You have to ask Luxpower support to change you dongle to the unencrypted mode.
