The Floating Action Buttons (FABs) used in FAB_Overlay are currently inconsistent in style, size, and visual language.

This issue focuses on redesigning all FAB buttons to achieve a cleaner, more modern, and consistent appearance.


Goal

Create a unified FAB design system that:

  • Is visually consistent across all FABs
  • Matches the overall visual language of the application
  • Improves clarity and usability

Scope

Design Tasks

Redesign all FAB buttons used in:

  • FAB_Overlay
  • Contextual and secondary FABs
  • Expanded or multi-action FAB states
  • FAB icons (if applicable)

Design Guidelines

  • Clean, modern, technical look
  • Consistent size, shape, elevation, and spacing
  • Clear visual hierarchy (primary vs. secondary actions)
  • Icons must remain readable at small sizes
  • Follow Material Design principles where applicable

Integration

  • Developers will assist with implementation
  • Design should be reusable across the application
  • Provide assets, specifications, or mockups suitable for Android UI

Acceptance Criteria

  • All FABs follow a single, consistent design language
  • Clear distinction between primary and secondary actions
  • Improved visual clarity and usability
  • Design ready for implementation
