Currently Cinema 4D to Arnold (C4DtoA) on Linux is only supported in Cinema 4D 2025 with C4DtoA 4.8.4.1. Customers have asked for C4DtoA support for Cinema 4D 2026.
Proposed Solution
This is a known Autodesk Arnold bug. If you are affected by this, please follow and/or comment on this forum post.
Current Workaround
Customers who use Cinema 4D with Arnold can either stay on Cinema 4D 2025 or use Windows service-managed fleets with Cinema 4D 2026 instead.
Environment (optional)
- Operating system (e.g. Windows Server 2022; Amazon Linux 2023; etc.): Amazon Linux 2023
- Version of Cinema 4D: 2026.0 and above
- Renderer used (e.g. Standard, Redshift, Arnold, etc.): Arnold
- Fleet configuration (Worker OS, GPU type if using Redshift): Linux service-managed fleets both with and without GPUs are affected.
