Problem
A customer rendering Cinema 4D + Redshift jobs on AWS Deadline Cloud is getting output where a small subset of textures is missing, even though 200+ other textures in the same scene render correctly. The affected textures are not different in any obvious way from the ones that work.
The only clue we have is this error message:
STOUT: WARNING: asset wasn't recognized. Attempting to path map ‹c4d.modules. graphview.GvNode object called Roughness/RS Shader with ID 1001101 at
They have confirmed that using "Save project with assets" has not helped with this issue.
Expected Behaviour
The jobs are rendered successfully.
Current Behaviour
The outputs do have these materials as well.
Reproduction Steps
Unfortunately, we don't have any steps to reproduce this issue.
Environment
At minimum:
- Operating system (e.g. Windows Server 2022; Amazon Linux 2023; etc.)
- Version of Cinema 4D
- Copy the entire contents of the About panel (Extensions > AWS Deadline Cloud Submitter > About)
- Renderer used (e.g. Standard, Redshift, Arnold, etc.)
- Fleet configuration (Worker OS, GPU type if using Redshift)
