R9 — Single-copy receive path #28
Description
Value: the receive path still bounces through a thread_local buffer before the queue-entry copy. Existing exploratory branches: perf/single-copy-recv, perf/recv-path-fix.
Implementation sketch: revive perf/single-copy-recv against the post-shm receive path (shm_resolve_incoming unchanged): recv directly into the queue entry's buffer.
Effort: 2–3 days.

Implementation exists on branch
perf/single-copy-recv(8 files, +305/−90, unmerged, no PR). It touches the same receive path as PR #57's drain rework, so it should be rebased and PR'd after #57 lands.
