• Upgrade Stack and Codegen to 4.0.0 with Better DB/adapters/CLI 3.0.0, Better Auth 1.7.6, and the packaged Better Auth UI 3.0.0 companion based on upstream 1.7.26. Raise React/Tailwind minimums and update generated consumers, playground templates, and migration guidance.

Strict packed core/auth installations, dependency-tree checks, required peer checks, typechecks, and browser bundles passed under npm and pnpm. The direct Auth/Core/DB versions remain exact; upstream-declared nested better-call/utils implementations are allowed without overriding their versions or disabling peer validation.

The committed lockfile resolves published Better DB 3 packages without local overrides. CI pins Better Auth UI source 29e8dd41b50f1382f968078630aa00f15137a8ab for the coordinated companion release. The public install contract is checked before substituting that tarball in the init harness. All hosted checks and deployments must pass on the final commit before merge/publication.

Related coordinated upgrades: better-stack-ai/better-auth#51 and better-stack-ai/better-auth-ui#27.

The first hosted TanStack browser run exposed a mixed Query 5.90/Core 5.104 graph. The existing Todo SSR regression reproduced the error locally, then passed with the aligned 5.102 pair. Fifty maintained TanStack browser tests across Todo, Blog, CMS, and Kanban now pass locally; all hosted checks and deployments passed on the corrected head. Mutation callback/identity regressions pass for both sync and async calls.

The repository publication preflight passed for 775a9124ca1faf65a09db8fd5cf9059d00295cb9, including both package source ancestries. Final-head independent review found no blockers. The final automated review completed on the same commit after one infrastructure retry and reported no major issues.
