DWCode is a learning platform, and much of its traffic is people getting things wrong on purpose. Condescension toward someone learning is a violation of this code. "Read the docs" is not an answer. Nobody is required to already know DataWeave to participate here.
Equally: do not use the platform's competitive features to harass — no gaming the leaderboard to make a point, and no abusive content in problem submissions, blog posts, discussions or reports.
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behaviour and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behaviour that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces — the repository, issues, pull requests, discussions — and also applies when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces. It applies to user-generated content on the platform itself: problems, blog posts, comments and reports.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be reported to the maintainers via a private security advisory or by contacting @bighnesh0007 directly.
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.
1. Correction — Impact: inappropriate language or unprofessional behaviour. A private written warning, with clarity about the violation and why it was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
2. Warning — Impact: a violation through a single incident or series of actions. A warning with consequences for continued behaviour, including no interaction with those involved for a specified period.
3. Temporary Ban — Impact: a serious violation, including sustained inappropriate behaviour. A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community.
4. Permanent Ban — Impact: demonstrating a pattern of violation, harassment of an individual, or aggression toward classes of individuals. A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, available at https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/2/1/code_of_conduct.html.
