Document the MIT license scope for original work and retain required third-party attribution and license texts. Third-party components keep their existing terms; unresolved provenance or missing notices are explicitly listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
Validation: checked the complete candidate file inventory, local notice links, license-source evidence, and whitespace. Repository commit hooks passed. Packaging changes were checked with the applicable syntax checks and focused archive or installation tests. CI must pass before merge. Historical artifacts and unresolved permissions are not certified by this change. No version tag is requested.
