- Gallery grid + click-to-enlarge lightbox (prev/next, keyboard) at the bottom of /team/, auto-listing web-optimized photos from images/gallery/. - Add 13 lab photos, resized/compressed for web (~30MB originals -> ~6MB optimized + thumbnails); full-res originals kept out of git (.gitignore). - Repoint the contact Find-us photo to the optimized copy; drop the redundant full-size images/team/fun1.jpg. - Add the rest of the lab photos (incl. HEIC converted to web JPEG), re-optimized and renumbered lab-01..26 with thumbnails. - Give the contact "Find us" photo a stable filename (images/find-us.jpg) so it no longer depends on gallery numbering. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Team page: uniform rounded member-photo grid; section headings now use the same <h1> style as the other pages; Past members as a compact list. - New Collaborators section (after Current members), driven by _data/collaborators.yml (16 collaborators w/ photos, affiliations, links); clean initials fallback when a photo is missing. Track that data file via a _data/.gitignore exception. - Refresh collaborator headshots; remove old/unused images and a stray PDF. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Listing: replace the two-column media list with a responsive 4-across card grid — each paper's figure on top (contain on white, whole figure shown), title/authors/journal, and clickable theme tags. Year groupings and tag filtering unchanged. - Detail (paper layout): new header with a compact thumbnail beside the title, authors, venue, pill action buttons (PDF/DOI/preprint/Code/ Supplement) and theme tags; full-width abstract aligned under the title; auto "Part of: <project>" link. Project layout untouched. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Homepage: full-page ambient particle-network background (vanilla canvas) behind all content, with a d.school-style cursor trail. Faint by design; respects prefers-reduced-motion, drops the trail on touch, pauses when the tab is hidden. - Papers: year groups become a vertical timeline (year node on a left rail, cards to the right) instead of full-width dividers. - Team / Talks / Teaching / Projects: same left-rail motif — Talks grouped into a year timeline; Team/Teaching/Projects grouped by section/status. Rail labels are black, not bold, with a maroon timeline node. - Team: Collaborators shown as smaller circular avatars to distinguish them from lab members. - Projects: status rail (Active/Completed) replaces the filter pills; cards slimmed to 3-4 across; figures shown whole (contain on white) like papers. The "Active projects" list used the 4 newest projects regardless of status, so a Completed project was appearing. Filter to status == Active. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

…chiatry) Momi et al., Molecular Psychiatry (2026). Bibliographic metadata + DOI; abstract is a placeholder pending the official text, no figure yet. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Superseded by the maintained snt-modeling entry. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Neurophysiological signatures of Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy in treatment-resistant depression (Momi et al., Molecular Psychiatry 2026). Replaces the standalone medRxiv preprint entry with the published version (preprint linked from it); adds the PDF; links to the neuromod project. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
New "Recording coming soon" talk-card state for talks that have no video yet: no play button, a badge, an optional seminar tag, and the card links out to the event page. Add the Sept 2026 EPFL Brain Mind Institute Distinguished Seminar using it. Existing video cards/modal unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replace the per-post video-card grid with a single year-timeline list of all 44 invited talks (2011-2026), sourced from _data/talks.yml. International talks are tagged inline; the ~11 with recordings show a "Watch" button that opens the existing player; several have event-page links. Removed the 12 per-talk markdown posts (migrated into the data file); track _data/talks.yml via a gitignore exception. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The previous commit only recorded the post deletions; add the migrated _data/talks.yml, its gitignore exception, and the rewritten data-driven talks/index.html so the page renders. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Event pages are useful reference even when a recording exists, so render both when both are present. Add the confirmed Brain Space Initiative and AATRN seminar-archive pages to those two recorded talks. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A short, curated "News" section on the homepage (above Recent papers), driven by _data/news.yml — new paper, talk, and course to start. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
"Brain Dynamics and the Capacity for Change" — 6th Annual Precision Mental Health Symposium, Stanford (Sep 25, 2026). Added to the talks timeline and the homepage News feed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Increase rail-body bottom padding so Current members and Collaborators read as clearly distinct groups. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
"Brain Dynamics and the Capacity for Change" is now on YouTube — add the video so it shows a Watch button alongside the symposium event-page link. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Upcoming online talk "Contemplative Neuroscience in the Age of AI: From Scientific Discovery to Education" (ICCHAI 2026, Oct 23). Added to the talks timeline (with event-page link) and the homepage News feed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The "Excitation-Inhibition Balance and Fronto-Limbic Connectivity..." preprint is now published in Biological Psychiatry (title "Drive" -> "Distinguish"). Update journal/DOI/year in place and keep the bioRxiv preprint linked; renamed the post so it sorts into 2026. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

The "Evolution With Purpose" arXiv preprint is now published in the GECCO '26 proceedings; update title/journal/DOI in place and keep the arXiv preprint linked. Also label arXiv preprint buttons as "arXiv" (not "bioRxiv"). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Homepage News now renders the latest 5 items and links to a new /news/ page (not in the nav) that lists the full _data/news.yml. Shared styling moved to _includes/news-styles.html. Added the GECCO '26 paper to the feed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Nav links were 30px (same as the wordmark), so the 7 items overflowed the container below ~1200px and collided with the wordmark. Drop nav links to 20px and collapse to the menu at <992px (navbar-expand-lg). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

A live search box filters papers by title, authors, journal, year, and tags (multi-word queries narrow with AND). Removes the row of theme pills; tag chips stay on cards and clicking one searches that term. Enables author search, which the pills couldn't do.
