MIDNAT's current release is a complete X Layer Testnet protocol deployment. The clearing house, signed reference prices, funding, permissionless liquidation, ERC-4626 vault, insurance backstop, trading terminal and bounded Intelligence layer are integrated and live in the testnet environment.
A future real-value deployment requires a separate institutional scale and readiness program. These workstreams define scaling and assurance gates beyond the complete testnet feature scope.
Support larger open interest and deeper stressed exits through appropriately structured protocol liquidity.
Expand loss-absorption capacity for real-value operating conditions.
Establish professional market-making coverage for tighter execution and larger synthetic-equity markets.
Distribute signer and administrative controls across institutional operators, with resilient production processes and explicit separation of duties.
Complete independent external security assurance and operate continuous production monitoring before real-value activation.
Coordinate ecosystem distribution, trader onboarding and additional synthetic-equity listings through X Layer partners.
Each workstream is an independent readiness gate. Passing one does not imply that another has passed, and no mainnet or real-value status should be inferred from the current testnet deployment.
The X Layer Testnet chain remains authoritative for the deployed protocol state. Source revisions and deployment manifests establish provenance; they do not replace live-chain verification.
