   Can you please make a post in the "Technical Support" category of the QIIME 2 Forum and please include in more detail the exact steps you ran and the exact error you are seeing, including a full traceback?

   @ssolh2906 - I took a quick look at your templated plugin on GitHub. I don't think it's the newline, but rather the double quotes you have embedded in the description here.

   Try changing that line to something like:

   description="This project was created by following the QIIME 2 tutorial 'A step-by-step guide to building your first QIIME 2 plugin.' It was built for learning purposes, focusing on plugin structure, method registration, and visualization.",
   

   I changed the double quotes you had in the description to single quotes.
