Boot looping and confusion on download mode

So I have a pre neo model that does not boot into tizen and that I cannot get to show up on my laptop when trying to boot into download/recovery mode.

I opened up my charging dock and it does appear to be an aftermarket one in which there are traces for each pin. However I am not confident that it is successfully booting into download mode since the screen goes blank after I make that selection in S boot. I also have replaced the battery with a allegedly new one from ebay.

Do you have a picture of what the screen looks like while it is in download mode?

I plan to order a 1.8v UART but for the time being I have just been using straight USB like I have on one off my other watches.

If I need to order a replacement main board I can but do you know if I could still plug the camera into a neo board? I assume this is not supported but if its possible it would make getting a new board much easier so I figured I would ask.

As for the camera - I don't know, sorry. But I'd recommend you look on second-hand marketplaces for a new watch instead, they're quite cheap and IMO make messing with mainboard swaps not really worth it.
