Noticed this recently on the Recompile but it definitely exists on Rom copies in general. Here's a quick video that shows off the bug
There's a conflict when a 2nd c-button is pressed while a 1st c-button is being held. There are 2 scenarios
2 Grabs instead of 1
Steps to Replicate (C-Up)
- Hold C-Up. Continue to hold it through the next steps
- Jump
- Press C-Down
Expect: Player should do a tailgrab (Player's back)
Result: Player does Tailgrab, then Nosegrab
Steps to Replicate (C-Right)
- Hold C-Right. Continue to hold it through the next steps
- Jump
- Press C-Left.
Expect: Player does Method grab (Player's left)
Result: Player does Method grab, then an Indy grab (Player's left, then right)
0 Grabs instead of 1
Steps to Replicate (C-Down)
- Hold C-Down. Continue to hold it through the next steps
- Jump
- Press C-Up
Expect: Player should do a Nosegrab (Player's front)
Result: Nothing happens
Steps to Replicate (C-Left)
- Hold C-Left. Continue to hold it through the next steps
- Jump
- Press C-Right
Expect: Player should do an Indy grab (Player's right)
Result: Nothing happens
