Instantiating bench800k_top from design.rdl forced the PR review gate to compile the full 800k-register model (~10 GB peak), which OOM-killed the hosted runner. As a standalone entry the map is reported as "Register map added" in seconds, while the Railway preview builds and diffs it directly.
Large-map diffs peak around 10 GB, marginal on hosted runners; swap lets them complete instead of being OOM-killed. Concurrency cancels stale runs on new pushes, and the timeout stops a thrashing job from running unbounded.
