Is SDCARD_WRITE_SUPPORT for all firmwares?

Is SDCARD_WRITE_SUPPORT for all firmwares or are there exceptions?

it is SDCARD_READONLY, when enabled you lose write support. that is enabled for printers which have little room for memory. it is something I enabled about 4 months ago for some firmware to make room for other features. it should be available on older firmware .bin files.

personally I dont find it useful because when you want to write to SD, usually it is through Octoprint and by then you have the Pi or whatever to store. anyway if it were to be disabled then other things would need to be disabled to make room which can be done with a custom compilation.
