Firmware retract, is it on by default? Is there an on/off in the menu somewhere? #79
|
Running 2.1.3e-1 on a G32 Aquila, ( Aquila_GD32_UBL-ProUI ), and it seems to be working well. Looking thru "tune' during a print I saw that I can adjust 'Firmware Retract' settings. I didn't know firmware retract was on. I hadn't heard of 'Firmware retract" until yesterday. Back in the main menu going thru 'control' settings, I don't see anywhere to turn firmware retract ON/OFF. Is it always on? Is it not really on, but the tune settings are there just in case it was? Thanks. |

yes firmware retract is there if needed. to use it, you need to enable it in the slicer. I believe it works by using Gcode commands.
basically it allows you to adjust retract settings "on the fly" during printing.
