feat(mosaic): mock the combined sign-in flow - #10339
Adds a view-only sign-in feature to @clerk/mosaic that renders the combined sign-in-or-up flow as nine Flow steps: start (social providers, "or" divider, email field), password with identity preview and forgot-password link, email code, authenticator code, backup code, method picker, help, sign-up details, and verify email. The code, backup code, picker, and help steps reuse the reverification feature's step components; only the start, password, identity preview, and sign-up steps are new, and the strings register as a new signIn message namespace. There is no model or controller yet, so nothing is wired to Clerk. Swingset gets a SignIn page under a new Authentication group, marked wip: needs wire-up, whose Default story walks the whole flow on mock data (an email containing new takes the sign-up path, error or 000000 renders an attempt error) alongside isolated panels for each step and state.

It looks like this branch is under active development. To avoid overwhelming you with review comments due to an influx of new commits, CodeRabbit has automatically paused this review. You can configure this behavior by changing the reviews.auto_review.auto_pause_after_reviewed_commits setting.
The change adds Mosaic sign-in types, localized messages, form steps, and a view that routes among sign-in, verification, help, method selection, and sign-up steps. Swingset gains interactive and static sign-in stories, story registration, and documentation. Card alignment moves from Card.Header to Card.Root, with related style, test, and usage updates. The badge-gap test now polls sampled pixel colors.
Some card styling and localization overrides may behave incorrectly, and the test project has a type error. These issues are bounded but merit attention.

The verify-email step ignores the signIn.verifyEmail resend messages.
resend is built once from m.emailCode.resendText, m.emailCode.resend, and m.emailCode.resendCountdown. The email-code step and the verify-email step both use it.
signInMessages.verifyEmail defines its own resendText, resend, and resendCountdown. Nothing reads them. A consumer who overrides signIn.verifyEmail.resend sees no change. The catalog also shows a key that has no effect.
At Line 192, use resend={buildResend(m.emailCode)}. At Line 314, use resend={buildResend(m.verifyEmail)}.

Update the resend configuration in the sign-in view so its text, label, and

The pending social button loses keyboard focus when a click starts the request.
SocialButtons receives disabled={busy}. busy includes Boolean(pendingProviderId). When the user activates a provider, that provider's button gets disabled={true} and isPending={true}.
SubmitButton computes focusableWhenDisabled as focusableWhenDisabled || (isPending && !disabled). Because disabled is already true, the pending button becomes a natively disabled button. Keyboard focus is lost and the aria-busy state is not reachable.
Disable the other buttons only. Let the pending button stay disabled through isPending so it keeps focus.

Update the provider button’s disabled condition in SocialButtons so busy state
disables only providers other than pendingProviderId; keep the pending provider
enabled at the native-button level while isPending communicates its pending
state through SubmitButton. Preserve disabling for the other providers.

The Default story went from start (Google, GitHub, 'or', email) to the password step with identity preview and Forgot password?, then to Two-step verification, and ended on 'Signed in.'
Email with 'new' takes sign-up path 'error' and '000000' show attempt errors Method picker and help reuse reverification steps Centered card unchanged after align moves to root

The inspected repository rule applies to the new SignInView, and the barrel does not export it. Its styles therefore do not reach the published styles.css build. The Swingset mock is styled through a separate postcss path and is unaffected. No current consumer of the published package can render the view. The defect is a latent gap in the build contract, not a present runtime failure.
Export SignInView from the styles barrel.
The published styles.css build extracts styles only from modules reachable from packages/mosaic/src/styles/index.ts. ARCHITECTURE.md requires every new component to be exported from that barrel. SignInView is new and not exported, so its StyleX styles, including sign-in.styles.ts, are not in styles.css once the view is wired. Export the view, not the step components. Its imports then bring the step styles into the graph.

not export the step components.

Use a supported styling prop in this test.
Card.Description uses MosaicComponentProps, which excludes style. This line fails type-checking in the test TypeScript project. Use an xstyle atom or style a native rendered element instead. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Keep fixed-width header children centered.
Removing alignItems: 'center' leaves fixed-width flex children at the start of the header. textAlign centers text, and mediaAlign centers Card.Media contents, but neither centers another fixed-width child. Preserve cross-axis centering while allowing descriptions to shrink. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Preserve the header alignment attribute.
Existing themes can target .cl-card-header[data-align="center"] or data-align="start". Removing the attribute breaks those selectors, even though the root now exposes alignment. Keep reflecting align on the header. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
As per coding guidelines, every Mosaic part “reflects its variants and state as data attributes.”
