docs: "Pull Requests are disabled" was false — GitHub has no such setting
Smell-audited: 1: this is the same lie-class the previous commit was written to remove, found in that commit's own replacement text. The fix is not just the wording — handover now records the false phrasing by name so it is not reintroduced from memory. Verified against the API: `has_issues=false` (Issues genuinely are disabled and always were), `archived=false`. GitHub provides no setting to turn off Pull Requests on an unarchived repository, so anyone can open one. None ever has, and none will be reviewed — but "disabled" claimed a mechanism that does not exist, and someone reading it would conclude the button was missing rather than that the review was. CONTRIBUTING.md and PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md now say what is actually true: you can open a PR, it will not be reviewed or merged, and the reason you were able to open it is that GitHub gives no way to prevent it. Both also state that the repository stays public and unarchived, which is the property a fork depends on (user direction 2026-08-12: support ends gradually, the repo stays open, Issues/PRs stay unaccepted — ClojureWasm itself is NOT archived). The three demo repositories (cw-playground / cw-serverless-demo / cw-arcade) ARE archived as of today and remain public, so the docs' "their repositories are archived" is now true. The other half of that claim — the hosted demos being shut down — is not yet: flyctl has no valid token on this machine and its login is browser-interactive, so both apps still answer 200. handover carries it as half-closed rather than as done.

Thanks for the effort — but ClojureWasm is no longer maintained, and this

Pull Request will not be reviewed or merged. That is not a backlog or a

pause. GitHub gives no way to turn Pull Requests off, which is the only

reason you were able to open one.

Fork it instead. EPL-2.0 asks no permission and the project asks no credit;

see CONTRIBUTING.md for how to build it and run the gate.
