Version: 1.22.0 Platform: Windows 10/11 · Linux (Steam Proton) Python: 3.12 (required — pywebview does not support 3.13/3.14)
AC Career GT Edition adds a full career mode to Assetto Corsa. It runs in its own native window (no browser needed).
Career & Progression
- 4-tier ladder: MX5 Cup (12 races) → GT4 (12 races) → GT3 (14 races) → WEC (8 races)
- End-of-season contract offers based on championship finish:
- Top finishers receive promotion offers from higher-tier teams (Factory / Semi-Factory / Customer)
- Bottom finishers face relegation risk: stay at a worse seat or drop to the tier below
- Each offer shows the team, car, tier badge, and class (Factory/Semi/Customer)
- Career Wizard: choose difficulty (Rookie/Amateur/Pro/Legend), weather mode, and scan your AC library for custom track pools
On Track
- Race Weekend panel: run Practice, Qualifying, and Race as separate AC sessions — play or skip each one individually
- 120 unique AI drivers with individual skill, aggression, and personality archetypes
- Post-race engineer debrief: consistency score, lap sparkline, pace trend analysis
- Pre-flight check warns if a track/car mod is missing before launch
- Dynamic weather toggle — ON uses the tier's weather pool; OFF forces clear skies every race
- Night cycle toggle — endurance races (≥30 laps) progress through afternoon → dusk → night → dawn; requires Custom Shader Patch (CSP)
Living Championship
- Cross-tier AI simulation — all 4 championships advance together; AI tiers race proportionally to player progress
- Live Driver and Team standings across all 4 tiers with race progress indicators (e.g. "GT3 3/12")
- Click any AI driver for a profile card (nationality, stats, career history)
- Driver evolution — AI drivers' skills drift season-to-season based on age, potential, and experience
- Rival system — one AI driver per season is marked as your rival (⚔) in standings and debrief
- Statistics page — wins, podiums, avg finish, championship position, and full season history

Settings can be changed in the Settings panel (⚙ button in the app):
- AI base level (slider)
- AI variance per race (slider)
- Dynamic weather ON/OFF toggle (default ON) — OFF = always clear weather
- Night cycle ON/OFF toggle (default ON) — day/night progression for endurance races (≥30 laps)
- Requires Custom Shader Patch (CSP) for full time-of-day progression
- Without CSP the race starts at a fixed sun position; the app warns you in the pre-flight check
