CubePilot End User License Agreement (EULA)
Copyright (c) 2026 CubePy. All rights reserved.

This is a license for the CubePilot application ("the Software") in its
compiled, distributed binary form. CubePilot is proprietary, closed-source
software. Its source code is not published and is not covered by this
license.

By downloading, installing or using the Software, you agree to the terms
below. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.


1. GRANT OF LICENSE

CubePy grants you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to install and use the Software on any number of devices
you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes, at no cost.

There is no fee, subscription, seat count or activation requirement for
this license. Every feature of the Software is available to every user.


2. RESTRICTIONS

You may not:

  a. Sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Software, or
     redistribute it as part of another product or service.

  b. Republish or mirror the Software's installers or packages outside the
     official GitHub Releases page at
     https://github.com/cubepy/CubePilot/releases, except for internal
     distribution within your own organization, unmodified.

  c. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to
     derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent that
     applicable law expressly permits this despite this limitation.

  d. Modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the Software,
     or patch, crack or circumvent any of its technical measures.

  e. Remove, obscure or alter any CubePilot or CubePy branding, copyright
     notice, trademark or attribution contained in the Software.


3. OWNERSHIP

The Software is licensed, not sold. CubePy retains all right, title and
interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property
rights. The CubePilot and CubePy names and logos are trademarks of CubePy
and are not licensed to you by this agreement.


4. YOUR DATA

The Software stores your data — including server definitions, credentials,
SSH keys, session history and notes — locally on your own device. CubePy
operates no account system and no synchronization service for the Software,
and does not receive, collect or store this data.

You are solely responsible for the security of the devices on which you run
the Software, for the strength of any passphrase or PIN you set, and for
the confidentiality and safekeeping of your own backups.


5. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

The Software includes third-party open-source components, each governed by
its own license. Those licenses are reproduced in full in the Software's
"About → Open Source Licenses" screen and take precedence over this
agreement with respect to those components.


6. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. CUBEPY DOES
NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
AGAINST EVERY THREAT.


7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CUBEPY
BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY — INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR
UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR SYSTEMS — WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT,
TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR ITS
USE.

You use the Software to administer your own systems at your own risk.


8. TERMINATION

This license terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On
termination you must stop using the Software and remove all copies of it
from your devices. Sections 3, 4, 6 and 7 survive termination.


9. UPDATES

Updates and new versions of the Software are distributed through GitHub
Releases and are governed by this agreement, unless a later version is
accompanied by a different license, in which case that license applies to
that version.


10. GENERAL

If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining
provisions remain in full force. CubePy's failure to enforce any provision
is not a waiver of it.
