There is a new release 8.0.4 but I don't see any information on the github repo.
With all the concerns related to the insecurity of marketplace can you clarify if this is intentional and why there's no mention on the repo?

Hi, yes it was intentional, just internal changes with no user facing changes, so did not update the changelog.
