User registration SPI called also durring SSO logins (Microsoft for example)

Hello!
First of all thanks for the great work. What I would like to report or discuss is that I noticed the following. We support SSO login having also Microsoft as IDP. What is strange here is that the methods of getUserByUsername, getUserByEmail are invoking my "Legacy application API" which I would not like since the registration is happening from Microsoft login. Is there any way to differentiate between that from session maybe? So I wont be making the call to the legacy API?
