on macos, using the same dsh market and plugins, dsh web works flawlessly; under dsh desktop, the same setup crashes.

The web-versus-desktop difference is a useful clue: the same plugin source does not imply the same Host contract. Please capture and compare these identities before changing the plugin:

• exact DSH source/package revision and desktop release; embedded @deepseek-ai/dsh version;
• Web profile versus Desktop profile composition, effective DSH_HOME, profile root, workspace cwd, Node/runtime identity, and resolved package graph;
• browser origin/transport in dsh web versus desktop file:// or IPC/WebView origin, including WorkerTunnel/RPC endpoints and authentication;
• plugin activation result per entry, missing/pending services, console/Host logs, and whether the crash happens during load, render, tool execution, or Session restore;
• one minimal profile with the plugin disabled, then one plugin at a time, followed by a read-only prompt and cold reload.

Keep desktop wrapper, official Host, plugin, provider, and renderer as separate trust and failure boundaries. Do not paste credentials, personal paths, or full Session contents into the issue. just letting you know that after v0.63, all updates have broken something. none of the later versions have worked for me. yes, i can disable plugins--enter safe mode--but i don't have to do any of that, with the same plugin set, using deepseek harness (dsh web).
