To visually check in which region a certain model works (par example to compare a 1 / x to a 1 / x**2 regime) it is useful to be able to use a log-scaled axis. Would it be possible to add a checkbox for this (near the x_min and x_max fields in the plot window?) for both the x- and y-axis? This then helps establish in which range you want to fit your model.
