Summary

• Accept an optional db_name JDBC connection property or URL query parameter; explicit properties take precedence.
• Send the UTF-8 namespace using unpadded standard Base64 in x-namespace-bin for stable and newer sqld servers, including metadata requests.
• Preserve default/hostname-based routing and the existing client constructor when no namespace is selected.
• Advertise the database property through JDBC driver metadata and document usage.

Integration

Extends via the existing JDBC connection-property and driver-property metadata contracts. Modifies LibSqlDriver.connect/getPropertyInfo and the LibSqlConnection constructor because registration of optional namespace selection belongs to this driver. The LibSqlClient constructor, executeBatch, and openSimpleConnection implement the namespace header within its existing transport; LibSqlConstants and LibSqlUtils add the property/header constants and URL extraction. No shared host/plugin contracts change.

Validation

• JDBC driver build and all 16 driver tests pass.
• Live JDBC smoke test against official sqld 0.24.32: property-based and URL-based selection read distinct data from two namespaces, including server-version metadata.
• Authenticated requests succeed; requests without a token are rejected.

Local test-server binaries, databases, credentials, and unrelated working-tree changes are excluded.
