Each family has its own visible dimension controls and a distinct construction:
| Family | Construction | Editable controls |
|---|---|---|
| Five-knuckle hinge | Two leaves with alternating bored knuckles, through pin and end retainers; four mounting holes | Open width, length, leaf thickness, pin diameter, mounting bore, opening angle 0–150° |
| Bridge pull handle | Integral chamfered grip, two legs and wide mounting feet; blind bores from below | Mounting centres, foot width/length, overall height, grip thickness, mounting bore |
| Barrel bolt and strike | Base plate with two bored guide saddles, sliding round bolt with operating knob, separate bored keeper plate | Plate length/width, bolt diameter, mounting bore and bolt retraction |
| Levelling foot | Non-slip base, shaped metal seat, stem seated in a blind bore and separate hex locknut | Pad diameter/thickness, overall height and nominal stem diameter |
| Profile end cap | Cover plate and hollow insertion skirt with corner relief slots | Profile width/length, face thickness, insertion depth and skirt wall |
The hinge rotates about Y through the pin centre. Latch motion is along X; zero retraction is the engaged position. Retraction is limited to 18% of plate length to keep the knob clear of both guides. Handle mounting centres are along X. End-cap skirt extends below Z=0, and its visible cover is above Z=0.
Assemblies contain 1–5 named solid components. Both browser preview and FreeCAD export share the same shape recipe. Open hinge angles, full latch retraction and a larger handle are covered by native checks in addition to all five presets and an exploded configuration.
These are editable generic constructions, not source-certified catalog products. Stem/locknut threads are smooth nominal envelopes; pin end retainers are simplified. The cap's insertion skirt must be adjusted to the actual extrusion opening. No load rating or manufactured fit is implied. Hinge angle and latch position produce a static export of the selected pose, not a live FreeCAD mechanism constraint system.
